Tour of the Chilterns

I entered the Cyclefit Tour of the Chilterns some time ago and had been looking forward to getting out of London and to enjoying the time in the saddle. The riders were lucky with the weather; I only had to pull out my jacket once and the sunshine made the long climbs more pleasurable.

The route was spectacular and although I did lose my way a couple of times due to gremlins removing signs, I made it through the 100km route without too much fuss.  For some reason I ached for days afterwards. I think my legs are just about over the hill-hurt.  Fantastic company, great food-stop (thanks team Mum) and a good day's riding.
